Good stay at this B&B, would stay again. I thought it was far from city center but it is a nice 15 min walk, good enough.

The rooms were spacious. Was pleasantly surprised when presented with a shrimp cocktail for each of us without request.
Was disappointed to find that after a days outing came back to B&B De Haven to find that no one had been in our rooms and that the remains of our meal was still on the table. Also dismayed to find that after returning to the B&B De Haven after an evening out, that the chain had been put across the door so was unable to get inside, after repeatedly pressing the bell still no response from the owners. Grrrr!

Its a family house, all people very nice, you have the 2nd floor for your own, with a big room, a bathroom big too, and a very nice office, where you have frigo, a good range of hot drinks, coffee, tea to have, a microwave, and a nice view to the courtyard. There was too a tv and cable in the room. I liked to have some bathroom products that usually you dont see in hotels.
Please keep in mind, that the owners live in the house, in the first floor, and nobody will go to the second floor but there is no locks for you, just doors with no locks, but all safe. We really enjoyed the experience, having a night in a traditional dutch house. Leiden is too very beautiful and with some nice shops in the center.

Very clean, quiet, spacious, lovely friendly and helpful host, had all the basic things you need in a hotel, breakfast was very nice. It is about a 25 minute walk from the central station, but the walk route is nice and easy. You can also take a bus for 2 euros (56 or 256) straight from the central station to Kooipark, and the hotel is just around the corner (15 meters). Very convenient. I think taxi from the central station would be ~10 euros. Good value for money.

Host was very friendly and even borrowed his own bike so I could explore the city because the regular bikes were already taken.
Brakfast was kinda below average, E.G. no fresh orange juice and croissant etc..

spacious rooms, nice desk area with view, wonderful breakfasts-different every day, hospitable hosts.
a non-smoking envornment would be better; warning to people with many suitcases-steps are steep. The hosts helped with the luggage though, so not a problem for me.
